Today was the opening of a new Muggleborn orphanage that Narcissa and I attended. It went well though it is a shame that they cannot find good homes to go to. All children should have parents to look after them. Perhaps one day soon that will be possible. I do know that Narcissa and I are considering adopting one. After all, they do deserve the chance to grow up properly.
Narcissa
Can I talk to you about something? I admit I have been keeping a secret from you but once I tell you, I think you will understand. I just want you to be safe after all but it is definitely something you would be interested in.
Aberforth Dumbledore
I am considering asking Narcissa to join. She definitely would fully support us and I trust her with my life.
Lucius looked over the papers he had in front of him. The majority of it was to do with new laws either promoting Muggleborn equality or anti-Muggle law which were the two main categories the majority of new laws fell into lately. Even after all this time there were still changes being made to how things were run and apart of Lucius's job involved going through and passing law's that were deemed useful. At the same time he had to stop some of the equality laws passing to help the effort of the Resistance. It was a fine line he walked but one he was more than happy too.
They didn't deserve equality after all. Far from it in fact.
Finishing reading the last bit of law that came through his desk he placed it in the 'not great but could pass if it absolutely had to pile he had on his desk. It was the largest pile of papers there at the moment which was probably good as it meant that neither side was getting an upper hand though he would have preferred it not to pass. He couldn't raise suspicion though about what he was doing so he would have to let some of the laws pass even though he didn't want them to.
Looking up as he heard a knock on his office door he saw someone's secretary standing there - he could never remember who they worked for though. "Yes?" he asked wondering what they wanted of him.
